ZetaSafe invest in Mental Health First Aid Training

ZetaSafe’s Associate Commercial Director Andrew Lewis and Marketing Manager Victoria Franks attended a two day Mental Health First Aid course last week. The course was run by PES (employee benefits software platformHR support and workplace wellbeing specialists) at BPE Solicitors in Cheltenham.

Andrew Lewis, Associate Commercial Director says, ‘Mental health is high on everyone’s agenda at the moment and at ZetaSafe we take it very seriously. We want to create a supportive working environment where our staff can flourish. The internationally recognised Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) England training course certainly taught me how to spot the signs and symptoms of mental ill health and how to respond in a crisis situation. I would recommend this course to anyone.”

What is Mental Health First Aid?

Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) is an internationally recognised training course, designed to teach people how to spot the signs and symptoms of mental ill health and provide help on a first aid basis.

Adult MHFA courses can be attended by people aged 16 upwards and are relevant for the general population. Everyone on an Adult MHFA course is taught a set of skills which enables them to support someone experiencing mental health issues. Each and every MHFA course is delivered by a quality assured instructor, who has attended the seven day instructor training programme accredited by the RoyalSociety for PublicHealth.
